This year marks the 30th Anniversary of the Vermont Community Loan Fund (VCLF), a long-time Clean Yield partner. This week they are holding a special celebration at the Coach Barn at Shelburne Farms where they will honor former Clean Yield employee, longtime VCLF investor and former Board member Rick Hausman. Since inception VCLF has lent over $100 million to local Vermont businesses, affordable housing developers and community-based organizations. VCLF remains one of the most popular impact investments among Clean Yield clients and is a gateway investment for many of our clients into the field of impact investing.
Enjoy a festive evening that includes heavy hors d’oeuvres (featuring Loan Fund borrower products, of course!), cash bar, live music, stories and fellowship. Guests will also be able to enjoy Shelburne Farms’ latest visual arts exhibit “Of Land and Local” presented in partnership with Burlington City Arts. Hope to see you there!
