On October 16 in Burlington, Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility will join Clean Yield and Donella Meadows in hosting Integrating Mission Into Ownership: New Approaches to Business Ownership, Control and Finance at the Main Street Landing, 60 Lake Street, Burlington. Geared to a business audience, the business breakfast will discuss best practices in transitioning to worker ownership and new approaches to capitalization, including new rules pertaining to local investments recently issued by Vermont’s Securities Division. Marjorie will again lead off the discussion, followed by remarks from Will Raap, CEO of Gardener’s Supply, and Michael Pieciak, Deputy Commissioner of Securities for the State of Vermont.
